Founded by Ted Hitchcock in 1983, our company has deep roots on Cape Cod and an established reputation for exacting standards and meeting deadlines and budgets. Ted enlisted in the U.S. Army just three days after he graduated from high school. It was during his service to our country that he learned to do things a certain way: the right way. It is the philosophy that he continues to bring to each project and instills in his team.
After completing his tour in 1979, Ted moved to Cape Cod, where he spent several years working for Herb Cahoon, a local home improvement contractor. Ted describes his mentor – it was Herb who helped him start his Cape Cod roofing company – as “old school.”
